Ke Ala Kahiko can be translated into English as, "The Ancient Path" or "The Old Way".  We are a healing and education center dedicated to preserving the cultural, spiritual, and healing practices of Hawai'i, while staying true to the traditions of the ancestors of our lineage teachings.

We are committed to keeping the cultural heritage strong and pure, as passed on by generations of ancestors through...

  • Serving our community with traditional hands-on healing services including subtle energy medicine, spiritual healing, forgiveness and personal clearing, and hands-on body therapies.
       
  • Teaching the ancient Hawaiian traditions, philosophies, spirituality and healing practices through speaking and presenting seminars, workshops, and apprenticeships.
       
  • Caring for the land and maintaining the integrity and safety of our most Sacred Places.
       
  • Sharing our culture and traditions through authentic Hawaiian Ceremonies, Blessings and Celebrations to mark and celebrate the milestones of your life.
       
  • Our healing center offers skilled therapists specializing in a variety of natural therapies ranging from ancient Hawaiian therapies to popular modern body and energy therapies.

In addition, we provide the full traditional, in-depth and formal training in the spiritual and healing practices of the medical kahuna.

The wisdom, knowledge, and mission of our teachings and life's work is not to share "techniques".  True wisdom requires finding your own inner source of mana (spiritual power) and 'ike (knowledge).  Each one of us is born into this life with natural gifts and our own unique way of being and moving in the world. 

The teachings of this lineage guides each person to find their own internal sources of mana.  The traditions are not about teaching students to mimic the teacher.  Rather, we teach in ways to help students embrace who and what they are as a unique force for good.  That person willing to put in the effort of The Narrow Path, the challenging and rewarding path of study, can find themselves growing into a kahu within their own world.

Guided by the mandate to stay true to the teachings of the elders of our lineage, we teach the classes as close to the "old ways" as possible within the realities of modern circumstance.
